PRINCIPLE

A standard solution of sodium hydroxide is poured into the vinegar containing some drops of phenolphthalein until it turns pink. 

EQUIPMENT AND REAGENTS

  • Stand, rod and clamp for burette. 
  • Burette graduated in acetimetric degrees (Ref. 600123) 
  • 2-mark glass pipette, class A, 4ml (Ref. 603004) 
  • Crystallizer, 70mm diameter, 100ml (Ref. 627070)
